Everyone get ready to make your way over to Greektown! The Taste of the Danforth starts tomorrow!
This annual attraction gets better by the year with its amazing food, music, and entertainment, suitable for everyone – including families. Three whole kilometres of the Danforth will be closed down for this massive event, with over a million people attending! This year there will be unbelievable traditional Greek food as well as food from many others cultures, a wine garden, Carlsberg garden and tons of music. Watch out for the So You Think You Can Dance Canada finalists of last season who will be performing. There will be a “Kids Zone” featuring fun activities to entertain children such as a touch table brought from the Toronto Zoo, and a “Sports Zone” with tons of physical challenges created by Toronto sports teams like the Maple Leafs, Raptors and the Argos. Dress light and learn some traditional Greek dancing, or enter contests to win different prizes.
